BD manager
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage target clients in preclinical and clinical stages, with a focus on innovative and Global biopharma companies.
- Track industry trends and regulatory policy changes, conduct business visits to gain in-depth understanding of clients' needs that can be addressed by modeling and simulation.
- Collect client requirements and convey them to the expert team, coordinate preliminary communication between both parties.
- Collect market trends and collaborate with the marketing department to identify new business development opportunities and develop new marketing strategies.
- Perform business negotiations, contract terms discussions, payment method arrangements, along with subsequent project coordination and follow-up.
- Participate in industry conferences, expand potential client resources, collaborate with the marketing department to complete booth communication and business lead generation.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Job Requirements
- Major in life sciences, pharmacy or related majors.
- 3-5 years of sales/BD experience in biotech/biopharma or research/development CRO companies, with extensive client resources in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Has a clear understanding of the discovery, development and registration process; familiarity with modeling techniques such as PK/PD, PBPK, QSP, etc. is strongly preferred.
- Has the ability to translate client needs to the technical team and develop proposals to address the needs.
- Excellent market development, client relationship management, and business negotiation skills, as well as the ability to promote complex modeling services to technical clients.
- Excellent English reading and writing skills.
- Result driven, with the ability to independently develop major clients.
